The purpose of Athletics at Ovilla Christian is to provide a venue in which the coaches can utilize the sport they coach to develop character traits, work ethic, and personalities that reflect Jesus Christ. Our goal is to develop young men and women to be strong leaders in their school, their communities, their churches, and their future families. Athletics is a tool we use to help mold people into what God wants them to be.

At Ovilla Christian School, we strive to build a strong athletic program with a history of winning without compromising the child or the family. The goal of OCS is not only to win, but to help foster the character traits mentioned above. Every practice, every game, every decision must be rooted in that purpose with Colossians 3:23 in mind, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.”
