The Early Education program of Ovilla Christian School will provide a secure environment for healthy development as students learn the skills necessary to love learning and come to understand the truth of God’s love for people.

The Early Education program at Ovilla Christian includes 2-day and 5-day options for the youngest Eagles! Both options are designed to foster age-appropriate learning environments where students are introduced to being in a structured classroom.

With care and wisdom, our teachers attend not only to the academic but also to the social, emotional, and spiritual development of the students. The curriculum is made up of the traditional basic courses taught from a distinctively Christian perspective to lay a foundation for the strong academic curriculum in the OCS Lower School and beyond.

The 2-day program operates in a similar manner as the MDO program that we used to offer through ORBC. Babies (12 months and older) through age 4 years come to class on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

2-Day SUMMER 2024

2-Day FALL 2023–SPRING 2024

PreK3

Eligibility and Program Information

  • PreK3 classes follow the same schedule as the Lower School at OCS (Mon–Fri, 8:00 am–3:30 pm).

  • Fridays are optional attendance days with lighter academic instruction and more free play.

  • Weekly enrichment classes in art, music, library, and movement.

  • Students must be 3 years old by September 1, 2024.

  • Students must be fully toilet-trained and able to self-feed by the program start date.

  • Apply online after carefully considering our Admissions Criteria.

PreK4

Eligibility and Program Information

  • PreK4 classes follow the same schedule as the Lower School at OCS (Mon–Fri, 8:00 am–3:30 pm)

  • Daily PE classes.

  • Weekly enrichment classes in Spanish, art, music, library, and technology.

  • Grading periods are in nine-week increments.

  • Students must be 4 years old by September 1, 2024.
