Welcome back to Ovilla Christian for another school year!

Whether you are a new family or have a returning Eagle, you will find resources here for the on-campus life of your student, volunteer opportunities for parents, and ways to stay informed of class and extracurricular activities.

Not sure when an event is happening? Check the OCS Master Calendar on Google or on ParentSquare!

School Hours and Eagle Camp

Eagle Camp is our after-school care. Register your student(s) by filling out this form and sending it to the OCS Office. Students may not be left on campus after pick-up time.

Our campus has a single-point, supervised entry. All students enter and exit through the front entrance of the school. Do not attempt to drop off your student at the Worship Center or Annex doors.

Drop-off Procedures: form one line in the morning. When your vehicle is next to the orange cones, you may let your student out. OCS staff will be available to assist younger students.

Pick-up Procedures: form two lines in the afternoon. Enter the carline only at your designated time. Display your car sign until you have your student.

Uniforms and Dress Code

The OCS dress code is designed to create a neat and professional appearance, enhance the learning environment in the classroom, and reduce competition and cliques among the student body based on socioeconomic status or group identity.

Purchase uniform pieces through Flynn O’Hara, our uniform partner, or shop at the used uniform sales that are conducted throughout the year.

  • Monday–Thursday: OCS polos with uniform bottoms; only OCS crewneck sweatshirts and jackets may be worn during the school day. Hoodies are allowed during athletic period only.

  • Friday: OCS spiritwear t-shirts with jeans; OCS hoodies may be worn on Fridays only.

View Uniform Guidelines by Grade for more information.

2023-2024 Handbooks

The school handbooks require a password to view. Please email the OCS Office to request the password.

Lunch Accounts

Students may bring lunch from home or purchase hot meals and à la carte items provided daily by our cafeteria partner ECI Management, Inc (ECI). Parents may set up a lunch account with a declining balance online and add funds using a credit card. They may also send cash or a check to the school, along with this form, to be added to the lunch account. Checks for lunch accounts must be made out to ECI Management, not OCS.

OCS Communication

Throughout the week, the OCS Office and homeroom teachers will send out information in ParentSquare. We’ll highlight important upcoming dates, athletic events, award and competition winners, and tell you what’s going on around the school. Your contact information in FACTS is used for ParentSquare, so please make sure that is current. Check your settings today to ensure you are receiving notifications the way you prefer so that you can engage with us in your student’s education.

Note: if you haven’t received a ParentSquare invite or are not receiving ParentSquare email or text notifications, contact the OCS Office.

Logging onto FACTS allows you to view student(s) grades, schedule, behavior, attendance, lesson plans, and homework assignments. You will also be prompted annually to set up your tuition payment plan for the following school year.

OCS parents are all in.

Ovilla Christian partners with families, not just students. Many of our parents want to be more involved with their student's education in and out of the classroom, including fine arts and sports. These parents are ALL IN!

We want to equip OCS parents to live out our mission—to cultivate an environment where each student and each parent move forward from this place as a dedicated follower of Christ, ready to tackle life as a biblical thinker, lifelong learner, and servant leader. OCS parents who are ALL IN do not offload the spiritual development of their children to a Christian school; rather, they engage in training and community that spurs them on to truly be Christian parents. Will you be ALL IN with us?

To be involved with any of our three parent groups, your attendance is required at quarterly All-In Eagles meetings. Go ahead and add these to your calendar now!

Eagle Parent Fellowship

The Eagle Parent Fellowship (EPF) is composed of parents or grandparents who want to be more involved with OCS. Its purpose is to create stronger relationships between the school and home, to support the staff and faculty at OCS, and give back to the school. The EPF organizes the used uniform sales, coordinate class moms or dads, and head up the PEST (Parents Encouraging Staff and Teachers) Program. Join the EPF on ParentSquare—you don’t have to be a parent to join!

Booster Clubs

The OC Athletics Department and the OCS Fine Arts Department each have a booster club where parents can be directly involved with their students’ extracurricular activities and events. Join these boosters and get involved today. Membership fees will be billed to your family FACTS account.
